Nancy Jo Farley

She was born March 31, 1945, in Norway, daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Tavis) Flessati.

Nancy graduated from Norway High School in 1963 and received her associate degree in accounting from Bay de Noc in 1992.

She worked for Lake Shore, Inc. for 29 years in the accounting department and then Dickinson Co. Health Care for 10 years as a health unit coordinator.

Nancy enjoyed reading, traveling, playing cards, going to sporting events and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Marc Christy of Norway and Eric (Joyce) Christy of Jackson, Wis.; daughter, Sherry (Russel) Bousley of Dunbar, Wis.; grandchildren, Marcus (Samantha) Christy, Marco Christy, Christopher Christy, Leah (Jason Fayas) Peterson, Cole Peterson, Diego Christy and Jeferson Christy; great-grandchildren, Jordan Fayas, Ethan Olkkonen, Anthony Withers, Paisley and Kaydence Peterson and Milo Christy; sister, JoAnn Arnold; brothers, David (Cheryl) Flessati and Bob (Tammy) Flessati; and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Farley; sister, Marie Belanger; granddaughter, Michelle Withers; brother-in-law, Bob Belanger; and nephew, Timmy Flessati.

Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 8 at St. Mary Church in Norway.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Friday at the church, with Fr. Marty Flynn, presiding.

Interment will be at the Norway Township Cemetery.
