KINGSFORD -- Ricky Alan Martin, 64, of Kingsford, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024.
He was born in Iron Mountain on Aug. 25, 1959, to Robert Sr. and Dolores (DeClark) Martin. Rick retired from the Grede Foundry after about 30 years of employment.
Ricky enjoyed watching the Packers and fishing. He also enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and playing bingo scratch-offs. Rick didn't have a bad bone in his body and was always kind and a joy to be around. More than anything, Rick loved time with his family and friends. He never went anywhere without his beloved dog, Bully. The unique nicknames that Rick gave to those close to him will be missed.
Ricky will be missed by his children, Heather Martin-West, Ricky D. Martin and Bethany Martin; grandchildren, Austin, Kailee and Jayce; mother, Dolores; brother, Robert Martin Jr.; and many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his child, Blair Martin; grandchild, Savannah; father, Robert Martin Sr.; and siblings, Lloyd Martin and Linda Duchaine.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave. in Iron Mountain. There will be a time for with brief prayers at 4 p.m.
