Beverly Ann Weslin

IRON RIVER — Beverly Ann Weslin left this life and entered eternal life on Feb. 27, 2024, at Evergreen Assisted Living.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1938, in Iron River, to the late Peter and Anna (Fedrizzi) Sacheck. She graduated from Stambaugh High School in 1960.

On Aug. 20, 1960, she married the love of her life, Marvin Weslin, at St. Cecilia Church in Caspian. They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary

After marriage they had one daughter, Deborah, whom they loved with their whole heart and soul.

Mom was very proud to be a stay-at-home mom and did not go to work until Deborah was in the third grade.

In 1971 she began working at JCPenny as a sales clerk. She worked there until the store closed. She held several positions but the one she enjoyed the most was decorating the store windows.

Everyone who knew Mom knows that she was a very artistic person. From oils to acrylics, and chalk to ink. She excelled in the all these mediums. She sold many of her paintings.

Mom spent many years volunteering at the Caspian Museum.

She also participated in the Christmas Tree Galleria, where she won awards for her tree decorating.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Marvin; daughter, Deborah; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Uren and Megan (Dan) Lyman; great-grandchildren, Bentlee and Brayden Rose; sister, Shirley (Don) Pivonka.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Sacheck; and her sister-in-law, Juanita Sacheck.

A special thank your to the staff at Evergreen Assisted Living for the kind and compassionate care they provided to Mom.

Your’s was a life well spent. Your foot steps can never be filled nor your love ever forgotten. Rest in peace good and faithful servant. We cannot wait to see you again.

Per Beverly’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services.

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home with the arrangements.
