Debra R. Moore

Debbie was born in Norway, on June 24, 1955, the daughter of the late Lois (Guth) Peterson and James Peterson. Debbie was a homemaker for most of her life. She always loved to bake, cook and entertain friends and family.

Debbie is survived by her children, Sheila DeGrand, Bryan (Emily Broullire) Moore, Shawn Moore, Jeff (Susan Perfetti) Moore, and Laura (John Grier) Moore; several grandchildren, Mason Moore, Alyssa Moore, Noah DeGrand, Katelyn Moore, Savannah Rouse, Gavin Gabriel, Isabella DeGrand, Aiden Moore, Conner Kober, Nicolas Moore and Briauna Jackson; siblings, Robert (April) Peterson, James (Jenna) Peterson and Judy Schultz; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Diane Short; and her uncles, Raymond Raiche and David Guth.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, followed by a service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Sullivan will officiate.

The family would like to acknowledge Debbie’s lifelong friend of 55 years, Carla Tippitt, who remained a close and reliable friend to Debbie throughout her entire life. Two other special friends who were in her life were Lynn Kmiec and Dawn Burcar.

The family would like to thank Florence Health Services and Marshfield Medical Centers for the support and compassionate care they provided to Debbie.

A private burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Faithhorn at a later date.
