Leon C. Brooks

Leon was born Dec. 18, 1955, to Omer Brooks and Geraldine Gardiner. Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and singing. He also enjoyed the outdoors and camp fires. Leon was a social butterfly and very outgoing.

Leon is survived by a daughter, Amanda Brooks; a son, Leon A. (Sara) Brooks; father, Omer “Mo” Brooks; two sisters, Jennifer (James) LaPine, Sarah (James) Crampton; two grandchildren, Parker and Logan Brooks; and a special friend, Sally Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Gardiner; and a brother, Omer Brooks.

A celebration of life will be held by Leon’s two children, Leon and Amanda, from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Knight Owl Bar in Norway.
