NIAGARA, Wis. — Bernadine “DeeDee” Miller, 64, of Niagara, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

DeeDee was born on Feb. 7, 1960, in Norway. She married the love of her life, Jerry Miller, on March 10, 1979.

She was best known for her beautiful, compassionate soul and unending selflessness. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, crocheting, fishing, and coloring.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jerry Miller; daughter, Fredy (Paul) Johnson; daughters she chose, Mary Yott and Tylee Ray; grandchildren, Cheyanne (Craig) Beindorf, Alex Johnson, Hallie Yott, William Yott, Emily Yott, and Rose Franko; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Johnson, Mason Johnson, Sylvie Beindorf, Lincoln Beindorf, Hadley Franko and Waylon Franko; siblings, William (Di) Hagberg Jr., Dan (Mary) Smith, Bobbi (John) Martin, and Ann (Paul) Ray; special friends, Carla Tippett and family, and Mary VanPembrook; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her mom and dad, Bonnie and Richard Surprise; brother, Freddy Hagberg, and sisters, Bunny Beyers and Rachelle Ketola.

In accordance with DeeDee’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
