IRON MOUNTAIN — Jeanine Marie (Beauchamp) Sparapani passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicular accident on Jan 1, 2024.
She was born on April 2, 1939, in Iron Mountain to the late Lawrence and Marion (Constantini) Beauchamp and attended Iron Mountain High School. Jeanine married her one true love, Ronald Sparapani Sr., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. They were married for 58 years before Ronald preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2014. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church for the past 60 years and prayed her Rosary daily.
Jeanine cherished her family above all. She was the source of strength for her family during times of need and the first to celebrate the joyous milestones and life events. Her favorite past times were bowling, dancing, playing cards, trips to the casino and traveling domestically and abroad. Along the way she found significant joy in the beautiful scenery that God created. She loved to cook and prepared abundant amounts of food for family gatherings. Her specialty was her handmade pastas.
Jeanine will be deeply missed by her children, Randy (Roxanne) Sparapani, Maria (Randy) Perron, Diana Sparapani and Lori Sparapani; grandchildren, Sarah Sparapani, Anna (John) Sparapani, Angela (Ty) Counter, Jaime (Mike) Rasmussen, Randee (Travis) Sparapani, Adam (Jennifer) Perron, Brandy (Rob) Short, Nicholas (Shauna) Grigg and Lindsay (Luke) Greenawald; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Judy) Beauchamp; and many other family and friends.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Jeanine was preceded in death by her son, Ron Sparapani Jr; a granddaughter, Alea Sparapani; a great-granddaughter, Grace Greenawald; and her infant sister, Laurine Beauchamp.
Fr. Michael Woemper will officiate the Funeral Mass at St Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 600 Marquette Blvd., Kingsford, starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 17.
Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
