William E. Vincent Jr.

WILSON — William “Bill” E. Vincent Jr., 90, of Wilson, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. He was born on May 29, 1933, in Wilson, son of the late William and Dahlores (Morreau) Vincent Sr.

On September 3, 1960 he married the former Linda Valiquette, at St. Patrick Church in Escanaba. She preceded Bill in death in 2017.

Bill graduated from Bark River High School and was then drafted into the U.S. Army, where he proudly served his country from 1953 to 1955.

Bill is survived by six children, Paul (Theresa), Randy (Lisa), Rudy (Melissa Villeneuve), Rayne (April Baratono), Robin (Janet) Vincent and Pattie (Kelly) Plunger; two brothers, Lee (Joni) Vincent and Rick (Sandy) Vincent; one sister, Beverly Vogel; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Linda, Bill was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Travis Vincent; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rose Mech and Colten King; and two sisters, Joanne Martin and Judy Liegeois.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday May 9 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home: W3755 US 2, Spalding, MI 49886, with Tony Revord American Legion Post 244 rites at 1:15 p.m.

A funeral to celebrate the life of Bill Vincent Jr. will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, with Mark Whitens officiating.

Burial will follow services in the Wilson Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Hermansville Community Club.
