Paul ‘Butch’ A. d’Arras

BROOKFIELD, Wis. — On Thursday May 30, 2024, Paul completed his journey on earth and peacefully left us, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 84.

Left with loving memories are his wife of 53 years, Mary (nee Kretzer); sons, Brice Darras and Brett d’Arras; granddaughter, Cora Darras; and her mom, Renee O’Cleary; sister, Pauline “Peach” Herman; brother-in-law, Herbert; and sister-in-law, Carol Kretzer; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Kretzer. Paul is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly.

In God’s care he is reunited with those he loved who left before him, including his mother and father, Stefanie and Paul; niece, Laurie Herman; brother, Frank; and brother-in-law, Jim Herman.

We give special thanks to Horizon Hospice for the help and support they provided on Paul’s long and difficult road. Jennifer and Sandy and Chaplain Steve, and others, but especially Cornelius who became a special friend and comfort to Paul.
