HOMESTEAD, Wis. — Shirley A. Davis, 88, of Homestead, passed away peacefully at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis., on June 7, 2024, surrounded by family.

She was born Jan. 11, 1936, to Raymond and Edith (Cuggino) Campbell.

She was a wonderful, loving Earth Angel who was loved by everyone that met her. She adored her family and all her pets as well. She worked as a CNA for many years until she moved to the dairy farm they bought in Homestead. There they milked cows and raised chickens and enjoyed life in the country. She was a fantastic Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother that always had an open ear for all our ups and downs in life.

She leaves behind three children, Cynthia Davis, Darrell Davis and Jeffrey ( Sherry Gould) Davis; one brother, Jerry (Ida) Campbell; three granddaughters, Sierra L. (Craig) Holmes, Brianna L. Bates, and Valarie Davis; one great-grandson, Desmond L. Brown; and three great-granddaughters, Zuri, R. Brown, Kayelynn Johnson and Ayeva Butterfield; special friend/son Jesse C. Rice; also her beloved cat, Abby.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald L. Davis; a son, John W. Davis; sister, Doris ( George) Latondress; three brothers, Raymond ( Marci) Campbell, Charles Campbell, and Harvey Campbell; also, her best friends, Joyce Dario and Frieda Parrish; Jesse C. Rice, who was like a “son” to her.

There will be no funeral services per her request.

The Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain is in charge of arrangements.
