Thaddeus ‘Teddy’ A. Gurgall

HERMANSVILLE — Thaddeus “Teddy” A. Gurgall, 90, of Hermansville, passed away on June 19, 2024.

He was born in Hermansville on June 1, 1934, son of the late Sylvester and Margaret (Micolajazyk) Gurgall.

He proudly served in the United States Army. Teddy was a member and past commander of the Floriano-Stecker-Kelly American Legion Post 340 in Hermansville. He also served as chef de gare of Menominee County Voiture 1288 of the 40 et 8.

Teddy was a skilled carpenter/cabinet maker and worked for Les Johnson Cabinet Shop.

He then joined his brother, Ray in the wood working business and they remained close throughout his life. He had many hobbies and enjoyed racing cars, kite building, making models, and taking his boat out on Hamilton Lakes. He also enjoyed photography and making family movies, but never liked his own picture taken. In retirement he liked going to the casino.

Teddy is survived by his siblings, Dorothy Kosch, Margie Stockton, Ray Gurgall and Agnes Kirschner. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Leona Kliment and Matt Gurgall, in-laws, Bonnie Gurgall, Jack Kirschner, Robert Stockton and Don Kosch.

A private burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery.
