Jeannette M. Sementilli

Jeannette was born May 28, 1932, in Aurora, Wis., daughter of William Sr., and Emma (Girardi) Broullire. She graduated from Kingsford High School in 1950 before attending the Gale Institute in Minneapolis.

On May 17, 1958, she married Joseph “Joe” Sementilli at the Sacred Heart Church in Aurora; they were married for 54 years before his passing in 2013. Jeannette was a former teletype operator for North Central Airlines. She was very proud of the certification she obtained to become an assistant certified pharmacist, which she did for several years until her retirement.

Jeannette enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, traveling, and going to casinos with her husband. She also enjoyed birds and flowers, and especially her cats, Roger and Mindy.

Jeannette and Joe will long be remembered for hosting many happy celebrations and parties for family and friends at their home.

She is survived by three brothers, William (Karen) Broullire, Raymond (Barbara) Broullire and Gerard (Paula) Broullire; four sisters, Alice Kallenbach, Marie Windell, Barbara Beauchamp and Eileen (Bruce) LaLiberte; a sister-in-law, Angela (Joseph) David; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joe, Jeannette was also preceded in death by a sister, Emelie Zimmerman; brothers-in-law, Delbert Kallenbach, Glenn Windell and Robert Beauchamp; two nephews, Michael Windell and Robert Zimmerman; and a niece, Autumn LaLonde.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Kingsford Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Msgr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
