Judith Ann (Kirk) Berg

Judy was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., to the late Paul and Dorothy Kirk.

Judy was the proud mother of her four sons, Scott, Danny, Mike and Rusty, whom she raised in East Kingsford.

In December 1985, Judy married her soul mate, William “Bill” Berg. Together they traveled to many places with their fifth wheel for Bill’s work, and made, many new friends. After retiring, they spent many years at camp, hunting and fishing, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.

Judy and Bill then moved to Florida and for the past 15 years have enjoyed living at Citrus Woods Park in Lakeland. She was very active in all the park had to offer, playing cards, Dominos, bingo, enjoying coffee, donuts, along with many talents she had with all her crafts.

Judy traveled back to the U.P. for many summer vacations, where she especially looked forward to spending time with her brother, Richard, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many hometown friends.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of 38 years of marriage; her children and their families: Roger “Scott” (Michelle) Deau: Kimberly Thomas, Abigail, Leah and Raevyn; Danny (Sally) Deau: Danny II (Niki) Deau, Gavin and Quentin Deau, Lacy (Chad) Tarsio; Michael Deau: Sarah (Scott) Servia, Jaimie (Chris) Thompson, Jailynn, Caleb, Christopher and Harley, Michael Jr. Deau, Carson and Janelle; Russell (Tammy) Deau: Sophia Deau; stepdaughter, Lynn (Dave) Lusardi: Ashten Bubloni, Ahrya, Matt Lusardi, Nate (Alex) Lusardi, Taylor; her two fur babies, Spice and Buddy; Debbie Kirk, a very special niece; along with many close friends at “The Woods” and back home in the U.P.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Robert (Laurie) Kirk, Richard Kirk and her granddaughter, Stacey Deau.
