Lynda Verville

IRON RIVER — Lynda Verville Preston passed away on July 7, 2024, after a long illness. Born in Iron River, she was a long-time resident of San Antonio, Texas.
She worked as an insurance underwriter for over 25 years before earning her BSN at UT Health Science Center. As a nurse she worked primarily in home hospice providing end of life care for children with terminal illnesses.
She is survived by siblings, Marlene, Maxine, and Geron; children, Robert, Dana, and Jason; grandchildren, Robert, Austin, Conner, Travis, Mason, Audrey, Emily, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren Eli and Ava; and nieces and nephews, Teri, Troy, Jeff, Lisa, Steven, Michael, Kirsten, Justin, JoAnna and Brock.
She was predeceased by parents, Clarence and Violet; and siblings, Scottie, Martin and David.
She will be interred in Iron River at a later date.
