PEMBINE, Wis. — Betty Jean Dingman, 95, of Pembine, Wis., was called home on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, with her children by her side.
She was born April 22, 1929, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Michael and Meta (Last) Beatovic.
Betty volunteered at the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center for many years and was a blessing to all the patients and fellow employees. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Michigan Post 50, and a member of St. Margaret Church in Pembine. Betty surrounded herself with all the things she loved.
She is survived by her seven children, Wayne, Leroy, Gary, Sue, Julie, Michelle, and Greg; three daughters-in-law, Lynn, Beth, and Toni; 16 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
“Our mother will be deeply missed by all, but she is now resting peacefully in our Lord and Savior’s arms.”
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Felix Abano will officiate. Burial will take place in the Pembine Cemetery in Pembine.
