Susan A. Miller

Suzi was born in Crystal Falls, on Aug. 20, 1963, the daughter of the late David Miller from Milwaukee, and Bernadette Brey from Kingsford.

She was a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, Class of 1982. Suzi received her associate in applied science business degree from Bay de Noc College. Suzi also obtained national master’s certification through the American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and National Contact Lens Examiner (NCLE) during her early years and worked at Kindy Optical and then later at Shopko Optical.

Suzi was raised Catholic and attended several Catholic churches in the area over her lifetime. She had a talent for refurbishing furniture and crafting. She will lovingly be remembered for her unselfish acts of kindness and generosity. She was known in her neighborhood for always providing rides for medical appointments for those in need. She also often offered money to those in need of food and other necessities.

Suzi is survived by her two children, Victoria Miller of Green Bay, Wis., and Johnathan Koller of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Breylin Miller and Allison Allard; mother, Bernadette; six siblings, Vicki Bianchi (Michael), Thomas Miller (Stefani), Christine Hurkmans (Michael), David Miller, Maryanne Gibler (Michael) and Karen Beauchamp (Chris); and numerous other family relatives.

Suzi is preceded in death by her father, David Miller.

The family will be holding a private memorial service.
