Marianne ‘Noni’ Mussatto

She was born July 16, 1931, in Marquette, daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Storti) Laporte and graduated from Gwinn High School in 1949.

Marianne married Robert Mussatto on June 28, 1952, at St. Anthony Church in Gwinn. She was an active member of Guardian Angels church singing in the choir, teaching CCD classes, and volunteering in the ladies guild. Marianne also spent time volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul. She was an avid reader and a member of a local book club.

Marianne is survived by five children, Steven (Joan) of Crystal Falls, Roberta (Rob) Elliot of Spring Lake, Mich., Kevin (Kathy) Mussatto of Elm Grove, Wis., Michael (Mary Beth) Mussatto of Shelton, Conn. and Jeff (Danielle) Mussatto of Grand Haven, Mich.; eight grandchildren, Katie, Joe, Natalie, Dominic, Emma, Hannah and Robert and Tony Elliott; and two great-grandchildren, Kane and Grant.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Nash Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. The funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Fr. Daniel Dapaah will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
