Mary ‘Mitzi’ Finendale

Mitzi was born on May 8, 1940, to Kenneth Will and Genegieve (Will) Remmington in Milwaukee. After Mitzi graduated from Kingsford High School in 1958, she went on to study cosmetology. She started her full-time job as a stay-at-home mom to four children, then going to work at the family business City Sales as the bookkeeper, kickstarting a 25-year career there.

In 1952, Mitzi met Kenneth “Kenny” J. Finendale of Kingsford. Mitzi and Kenny went on to have four children, Perry Joseph Finendale, Brian Kenneth Finendale, Scott Alan Finendale and Donna Lynn (Finendale) Roberts.

She is survived by her son, Scott Alan Finendale.

In addition to her parents, Mitzi was predeceased in death by her husband, Kenneth Joseph Finendale; sons Perry Joseph Finendale and Brian Kenneth Finendale; and daughter Donna Lynn (Finendale) Roberts.

A graveside service will be held at Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. The funeral procession from Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, to Cemetery Park will begin at 9:45 a.m. A luncheon will follow the graveside at Bimbo’s Wine Press, 314 E. Main St., Iron Mountain, MI 49801
