Alan Swanson

Alan was born on Feb. 12, 1956, to Herbert and Robina Swanson in Iron Mountain. He was raised in Michigan but has lived in Kaufman for the past 21 years.

Alan was a carpenter by trade, repairing manufactured homes for re-sale. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to all kinds of music; he also spend time playing golf games on his phone and watching westerns on TV.

Alan loved all children, his nieces and nephews very much and his most precious time was spent with them.

Alan was a beloved son, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memories are siblings: Catherine Rogers and her husband, Allen; Robert Swanson and wife, Beth; Robyn Swanson; Carol Jensen and husband, Kim; and Sally Rogers; three great-nieces that have lived with him in Kaufman their whole life: McKenzie Baker, Ava Baker and Lorelei Baker; numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
