Carol Ann Plowe

1931-2024

CRYSTAL FALLS — Carol Ann Plowe, a beloved resident of San Camillo, formerly of Crystal Falls, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at the age of 93.

She was born in Marquette, on July 28, 1931. Carol’s life was a testament to love and her family.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Lloyd and Nellie; brothers, Richard and Patrick; and her twin sister, Claire.

As a devoted mother, Carol’s legacy lives on through her four children: Steve Plowe, Greg Plowe, Kathleen Mussatto, and Kris Friedel. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, and she embraced her role as a mother with boundless love and support.

Carol loved her role as a grandmother and cherished the special moments spent with her grandchildren: Katie Clark, Brendon Plowe, Natalie LeRoy, Dominic Mussatto, Brooklynn Friedel, and Lukas Friedel. Her wisdom, guidance, and love shaped their lives and created bonds that will last forever. In addition to her grandchildren,

Carol was blessed to have four great-grandchildren: Taylor Clark, Tatum Clark, Bray Plowe, and Brynley Plowe. She embraced this new generation with open arms, delighting in their presence and leaving them with cherished memories.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. at San Camillo Chapel, 10200 W Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, WI, 53226. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of Mass.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery and will be announced by the Nash Funeral Home of Crystal Falls.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to their favorite charity in Carol’s name.

As we reflect on Carol’s life, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and the value of family bonds.
