GARY, Ind. — Melvin B. Nelson, 85, of Gary, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, in Michigan City, Ind.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River with Pastor Mike Poindexter to officiate. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the service.
Interment will be at Stambaugh Cemetery.
