Irene Donavan
NIAGARA, Wis. — Irene Donavan, 86, of Niagara, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
She was born July 2, 1938, in Niagara, the youngest daughter of Bernard and Ada Rutkowski. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Donavan,; and sister, Bernice Erickson.
She is survived by her daughters, Rochelle (Thomas) Giguere of Weston, Wis. and Jane (Richard) Swanson of Crystal Falls; grandchildren, Andrew Giguere, Richard (Lauren) Swanson, Jessica (Adam) Ortman; great-granddaughter, Annalise; nieces and nephews.
Irene retired from the VA Medical Center in 1994 after 33 years of service as a nursing office secretary.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
The family has entrusted Erickson-Rochon & Nash with the funeral arrangements.
