IRON MOUNTAIN — Marjorie (Marge) Theisen Nelson of Iron Mountain entered her eternal home peacefully on Jan. 28, 2025, with her daughters by her side.
She was 95 years young. Marge is survived by three daughters, Susan (Steven) Higgins, Joy (Montee) Skorich, Carrie Jo Mellinger; and her grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Nelson, Hillary and Hunter Higgins, Nicholas Nelson, Cory Zale Mellinger and Blake Skorich; daughter-in-law, Robin Nelson; and brother, Wayne Theisen. There are six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and countless loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her three sons, Nicholas, Ricky and Roy Nelson; and grandson, Surf Mellinger; brother, Earl; sisters, Betty and Orice; and sisters-in-law, Ruth and Nancy Theisen.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
