Catherine Kopp

She was born on Dec. 4, 1955 to the late Cyril and Martha (Seavoy) Fortier in Detroit. Catherine graduated high school and got her associates degree from NWTC receiving highest honors.

She married John Howard Kopp on August 16, 1980, in Iron Mountain. Catherine enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, crocheting, gardening, listening to music, watching classical movies, watching tennis, football, and college basketball. Most importantly she loved being with her grandchildren.

Catherine is survived by her three daughters, Jessica (Doug) Lippold, Angela (significant other Nathan Linsmeier) Kopp, and Johnna (Kyle) Durow; five grandchildren, Urijah and Arijanah Linsmeier, Kaedyn, Jaycie and Kamryn Durow; and many other friends and family.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Brian Fortier.

In keeping with Catherine’s wishes, no services will be held. A celebration of life will be held for Catherine at a later date.
