Timothy B. Dailey

KINGSFORD — Timothy B. Dailey, 76, of Kingsford passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at home.

Tim was born on Sept. 11, 1948, in Wayne, Mich., to John and Lorraine (Duquette) Dailey. He graduated from Holy Name High School in 1966. On Nov. 13, 1967, Tim enlisted with the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War until June of 1970.

After his service Tim moved home to Escanaba where he worked as DJ for WDBC.

Tim worked in several other positions including as an electrical salesman, a partner for Superior Satellites, and ultimately as the owner of TJS Services prior to his retirement.

On Aug. 20, 1982, Tim was married to Judy (LeMonds) Dailey on the bridge at Fumee Creek Park. In his early years Tim enjoyed playing baseball and competing in track. He liked spending time fishing out at Antoine Lake, feeding his animals and birds around the house, and watching the Green Bay Packers or the Detroit Tigers.

Most of all, Tim loved reading or spending time with family or the disabled veterans at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, and his special visits with Daisy.

Tim will be deeply missed by his wife, Judy; two sons, Sean (Allissa) and Steven (Courtney); mother, Lorraine; siblings, John, Mike (Beth), and Katie (Scott); and many well-loved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, John; sister, Colleen; his first wife, Lois Bryers-Dailey, and their infant daughter, Ann Marie.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 11 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave., with the funeral service starting at noon.

Burial will be in Quinnesec Cemetery.
