Marlene Prudhomme

QUINNESEC — Marlene Prudhomme, 85, of Quinnesec, passed away on May, 3, 2025, at her home after fighting a short battle with terminal cancer. “She did it her Way!” Never once did she complain.

She was born in Norway on Jan. 21, 1940, daughter of the late Frank Tomosaski and Virginia Faull.

On July 19, 1958, Marlene married the love of her life, David “Porkey” Prudhomme, and celebrated 66 years together before he passed away on Dec. 25, 2024.

Marlene was always doing something and loved to shop, be it stores, auctions, or rummages, she did it. She spent most of her time with David at camp, casino, Big Ten, church and with family and friends. Her words, “Your Dad and I had a beautiful life together.”

Marlene was always thankful to all of her family and friends and will be remembered as an amazing wife and mother, an active member in the church, and her quick wit and constantly on the go.

Marlene leaves behind two children, six grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to husband and parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her son, Jerry on Dec. 9, 2022.

The graveside service will be in Norway Township Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, led by Pastor Michael Langlais.
