IRON MOUNTAIN — Ronald Paul Sielaff, 73, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center.
He was born April 10, 1952, in Norway, son of the late Albert and Doris (Kinsella) Sielaff. Ronald graduated from Niagara High School in 1970 and then went to college for a few semesters. He moved to Milwaukee and became the top salesman for Pagel Safety Products.
On Dec. 10, 1972, Ronald met Linda Barber through a computer dating service. They went on two dates before he proposed. They were married two months later, on Feb. 10, 1973, in Milwaukee. Ronald and Linda chose to raise their children away from the big city and moved to Niagara, Wis., in 1983. He then worked for the Niagara paper mill until it was closed in 2008. Ronald was a devoted family man who loved his children and grandchildren, as well as his lifelong friend, Tom Schultz.
He enjoyed his time outdoors, particularly camping, fishing, hunting, golfing and birdwatching. Ronald loved the History Channel, sci-fi movies, and astronomy.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Sielaff; sons, Robert (Amanda) Sielaff and Jerrid (Stefani) Sielaff; daughter, Tammy (Sam) Bilski; brother, Thomas (Lizanne) Sielaff; sister, Shirley (Gerry) Nelson; and grandchildren, Aaron VanNess, Devon Sielaff, Jake Sielaff and Aili Sielaff.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Sielaff and his beloved dog, Roxie
