LENA, Wis. — Corrine “Cori” Thomson, 68, of Lena, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, from complications of diabetes.
Cori was born on March 10, 1957, to Rueben and Helen (Hamari) Wickman. She graduated with the Class of 1975 from Kingsford High School. Cori worked at Lakeshore Inc., Dean Foods, formerly Larson Foods, in sales. She married James “Jim” Thomson and moved to Lena. She worked for the Oconto County Economic Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization that promotes economic development and tourism in Oconto County, Wisconsin.
Cori loved traveling, camping, and winter sports from growing up in northern Michigan, such as skiing and ice skating. She was a Christian and enjoyed listening to online church services. She enjoyed browsing on the internet to find new ideas, always with her sidekick, Maddie. She loved spending time with her dog, Maddie, especially taking her to get a bath and a new bow for her collar.
Cori is survived in death by her husband, Jim Thomson; three stepchildren, Teri Thomson, Beau Thomson, and Tara (Eric) Sellen; stepgrandchildren Jacob, Lillian, Alaina, and Hayzel; two siblings, John (Jodi) Wickman and Darryl (Molly) Wickman; brothers and sisters-in-law Sally (Archie) Bellow, Jeannine Bellow, Cal (Sue) Thomson, Jerry (Denise) Thomson, Steve (Maryanne) Thomson, Dennis (Cindy) Thomson, Roseanne Thomson (John Hansche), Kathleen (Galen) Jeter, Sandy (Ted) DeCleene, Walter (Anita) Thomson, and Joan Wickman; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.
Cori was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Helen; stepdaughter Kelly Thomson; brother Rodney Wickman; brother-in-law Tim Bellow; and a nephew, Keith Wickman.

Pastor Jim Danielson will officiate the graveside service at Quinnesec Cemetery on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m.
