Eleanor Robinson

PEMBINE, Wis. — Eleanor Arlene Robinson, 72, of Pembine, went home to her Lord and Savior after a brief illness on Dec. 20, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain.
Born in Goodman, Wis., on April 7, 1952, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Howard and Beatrice (Helgeson) Viens.
After graduating from Goodman High School in 1970, Eleanor worked at the Goodman Mill for many years before taking a job in road construction.
On Jan. 1, 1995, she met the love of her life, Ron, and they married on Aug. 14, 2004. Together they worked many years running E&R Concrete.
Eleanor will be remembered for many things, especially her love of Christmas! Eleanor and Ron went all out on decorations, prepping months in advance to host the best Christmas parties. They dressed up as Santa and Frosty; young and old sat on Santa’s lap to let him/her know if they were good or bad that year. Eleanor also loved being outside, working in the yard, and her dogs, Cocoa, Izzy and Mya. She was a dedicated and loyal friend.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; two daughters, Tammy (Wozniak) Chiko of Armstrong Creek, Wis., and Valerie (Wozniak) Zegers of Green Bay, Wis.; a brother, George (Judy) Viens of Green Bay; and a sister, Carol (Viens) Stec of Armstrong Creek.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cody Gudowicz, Jackson and Dane Zegers; many nieces and nephews; close friends; family; and her dog, Mya.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a twin brother, John, at birth; and a sister, Doris (Munroe) Blanchard of Iron Mountain.
Eleanor will be put to rest at a graveside ceremony next to her dad and her dogs, Cocoa and Izzy, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Glenwood Cemetery in Goodman, Wis., with Father Anil Polumari officiating.
