Fred Popp

Fred was born on June 11, 1948, in Neenah, Wis.

After graduating from high school, Fred began his career at the Niagara Paper Mill, where he worked faithfully for 40 years. His strong work ethic and commitment left a lasting impression on his coworkers and community alike.

In his free time, Fred enjoyed watching sporting events and became a Norway Knights fan. He enjoyed spending time with family, working outside in his garage, and hunting. Fred was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan with the pleasure of being a season ticket owner. Fred loved taking daily walks with his dog Beau, who preceded him in death.

Fred is survived by three children, Fred (Melissa) Popp, Dawn Popp, and Scott (Tanya) Popp. Fred has seven grandchildren, Averie and Ian Popp, Valen Popp, McKenzie Lancour, Adam (Sarah) Allard, Dan (Megan) Allard and Jamie Oien, along with several great-grandchildren. Fred is also survived by his brother, Gary (Sharon) Popp; sister, Rose (Jim) Lang; brother-in-law, Steve Patri; along with many nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Fred Popp; and sister, Debbie Patri.

A private family gathering will be held in the future to honor Fred’s memory. He will be deeply missed and remembered always and forever.
