Jamison Rose King

IRON MOUNTAIN — Jamison Rose King passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, after a lifelong battle with cerebral palsy.

She was born Dec. 30, 1998, in Iron Mountain to Tashina King (Goad). Jamison was cared for and lived with her grandparents. During her life there were numerous trips either by lifeline flights or specially equipped vans to Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee. Jamison’s condition didn’t allow her to walk, talk or even sit without assistance, but the love she had in her heart could be seen in her eyes. She had dark flowing hair when not put up in a braid and fingernails that most everyone who met her envied.

Jamison is survived by her grandparents, Ray and Darlene King of Iron Mountain; her mother, Tashina (Mike) Goad; her sister, Chelsey Goad; brothers Daniel Annear Jr. and Owen (Kayla) Umbriaco; aunt Heather (Dennis) Lautzenheiser; uncle Ray (Samantha) King; and aunt Tarah (Tyler) Rhode.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 2 until 3 p.m. at Northern Light Christian Church, N4089 Pine Mountain Road, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. at the church.

Condolences to the family of Jamison King may be expressed online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com.

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home with the arrangements.
