IRON MOUNTAIN — Patricia Ann Wickman, 91, of Iron Mountain, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Optalis Health and Rehabilitation of Kingsford.
Pat was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Marquette, daughter of the late Russell and Kathryn (Aird) Gibson. After graduating from Kingsford High School, she attended Badger State Business College in Green Bay, Wis. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Wickman, on Nov. 14, 1953, in Detroit, and together they raised six children; he preceded her in death in 2012.
After living in Detroit for 10 years, Ken and Pat returned to the area, where she was the glue that held things together in her role as secretary/treasurer for Wickman Welding. A member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain, Pat was active in the women’ s organizations at church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, fishing with Ken and most of all, spending time at camp with family.
Pat is survived by her five children, Susan (Rick) Lundholm of Iron Mountain, Debbie (Gene) Davis of Kingsford, Dale Wickman of Iron Mountain, Tim (Erin) Wickman of Iron Mountain, and Dan Wickman of Kingsford; a daughter-in-law, Jill Wickman of Greenville, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Craig (Jennifer) Charette, Carrie Charette (Todd Coron), Peter (Lindsay) Cummings, Andrew Cummings (Emily Butler), Jessica (Luke) Golisch, Hannah Wickman (Adam Duncan), and Mikayla Wickman (Justin Chapman); six step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Jan) Gibson; two sisters, Mary Rock and Jeanne Doucette; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Fredrickson and Marlene (Richard) Azarovitz; one brother-in law, David Wickman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her parents and husband, Ken, she was preceded in death by a son, Major Gary Wickman; a son-in-law, Donald Charette Jr.; a stepgrandson, Michael; her in-laws, Wallace and Adeline Wickman; two brothers-in-law, James Rock and John Fredrickson; and a sister-in-law, Jan Wickman.

The family would like to thank the staff at Optalis for the wonderful care provided over the past three years.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Dr. Nicholas Hopman will officiate. Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery.
