Rita Julian

Born on Sept. 12, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of Rae and Sarah O’Connor. Rita lived a life full of grace, kindness and unwavering devotion to God, her family and friends.

She married Dean Julian on Nov. 26, 1955, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a proud mother to Janeé Mosca, Doreen Bellmore, Allan Julian, Kevin Julian (deceased), and Brian Julian, and a treasured grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Rita will be remembered for her faith, warmth, compassion, and love for her children. She also had a love for rummage sales and a gift for restoring antiques and furniture. She touched countless lives and brought light and joy to those around her.

She is survived by many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son and siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Maranatha Assembly of God Church. Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her life.

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
