Chantell Pavlat

She was born on July 9, 1991, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of Regina (Mulheron) and the late Joseph Pavlat Jr.

Chantell was special. She was born with severe disabilities that prevented her body and mind from growing and thriving at times, but not her heart. She knew the voices of her “people” and brought joy to all their lives.

Chantell is survived by her mother, Regina Pavlat; brothers Chandler and Joseph Pavlat; maternal grandmother Nancy Mulheron; paternal grandmother Judy Schetter; aunts, Robin (Todd) Root and Rose (Scott) Shaw; several nieces and nephews; special friends and guardians, Yvonne and Barry Voss.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Michael Mulheron; aunt and uncles, Jenny and Jason Genvick, and Bob Mulheron; and special friend, Peg Stauber.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Iron Mountain, with Father Michael Chenier officiating.
