Eric Libersher

He was born on March 2, 1955, to Jeanette and Joseph Libersher in Crystal Falls. He attended Alpha and Crystal Falls schools before moving to Olivet, where he graduated from high school.

He worked for Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti, Mich., then moved back to the Upper Peninsula and worked for Systems Control and Verso paper in Iron Mountain until his retirement.

Eric was an active member in Elks Lodge 700 and was named Elk of the Year.

He moved back to Olivet and was a successful beekeeper, gardener and deer hunter.

He is survived by his sisters, Lynette Libersher of Kingsford, Camille (Dean) Bauman of Kingsford and Catherine (Albert) Wireman of Olivet; his beloved Weimaraner (Keeko); and many cousins and friends. He had the loving company and comfort of a special lady, Jerri Curtsinger, in his past three years.

The family has held a private service.
