HERMANSVILLE — Hilda Angeline Menard, 97, Hermansville, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1928, in Hermansville, daughter of the late Angelo and Placida (Satori) Maule.
On Oct. 16, 1948, she married the love of her life, Louis C. Menard, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hermansville.
She is survived by a son, Thomas (Mary) Menard; daughters Linda (Joseph) Poupore and Carol (Charles) Anderson; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Jeremy Poupore; a great-grandson, Cameron Poupore; and five siblings, Bruno Maule, Remo Maule, Norman Maule, Perina Bell and Naomi Hayes.
In keeping with Hilda’s wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery.
