Louis J. Tauscheck

Born on June 13, 1958, to the late Robert and Ilamae (King) Tauscheck, Louis grew up in Kingsford with a love for the outdoors and a gift for working with his hands. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, tinkering and fixing things, and searching for treasures at yard sales. His curiosity and resourcefulness were matched by a generous spirit and a knack for finding joy in life’s simple pleasures such as spending time with family.

Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 44 years, the former Roxane Salo of Carney, whom he married on June 13, 1981.

Louis is survived by his two daughters, Tiffany Sawaf (Chad Cole) and Miranda (Dalton) Singer; his cherished grandchildren, Aria, Willow, Gabby, Tyler; his sister, Peggy (Bryan) Price; niece Jennifer; and parents in-law Bill and Priscilla.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew, Cameron Price; along with his four brothers, Robby, Joey, Billy, and Pauly; and aunt Janie.

Family and friends will remember Louis as a man of humor and ingenuity. His legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the lessons he passed down to his family, and those who surrounded Louis during his life.
