Marilyn J. Wainio
KINGSFORD — Marilyn J. Wainio, 78, of Kingsford, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at home with her family by her side.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1946, in Riverside, Calif., to the late Ed and Dorothy (Cook) Fisher. Marilyn graduated from Ramona High School in Riverside, Calif.
For more than 50 years, Marilyn was a faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was also a dedicated homemaker closely caring for her family.
Marilyn had an artistic eye and enjoyed making dolls, gardening and maintaining an aquarium.
She also liked sharing her faith through letter writing.
Marilyn will be missed by her three sons, Glenn (Sherry) Hyland, William (Daysi) Hyland, and Bryan (Amy) Hyland; three grandchildren, Sidney (Drew) Diamond, Jaron Hyland, and Dani Hyland; two great-grandchildren, Maddox Kurtz and Felix Schuls; two brothers, Donald (Aileen) Fisher and Jerry Adams; and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by a grandson, Damon Butler; two brothers, Darryl (Katherine) Adams and Raymond Adams; and two sisters-in-law, Sue Fisher and Nancy Adams.
Services will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at a later date.
