Sue Carlson

Born July 9, 1940, she was raised with her six siblings by her parents, Donald and Clara Dobson, in Michigan.

She married Jon Carlson from Iron Mountain in 1965 and raised their daughter Kristen and nephew Ken Matchett in Iron Mountain.

They relocated to Florida in 2001 to be near their daughter and granddaughters. Sue and Jon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.

She leaves her loving husband, Jon Carlson; daughter and husband, Kristen and Wade Broxton; two beloved granddaughters, Elizabeth and Britney; her nephew, Ken Matchett; her brother, Donald Dobson (Rose); her two sisters, Michelle Denton (Tom) and Pauline Williams; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jo Lee Matchett; and two brothers, James and Daniel Dobson.

She was a beautiful light in this world, and will be missed terribly.
