Geraldine “Gerry” Shampo
NIAGARA, Wis. — Geraldine “Gerry” Ann Shampo, 91, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, in Niagara.
She was born March 7, 1934, daughter of the late Chester and Agnes (LeGreve) Carl.
She married the love of her life, Kenneth Shampo, on Aug. 27, 1959.
They had many adventures together, especially in later years traveling in their motorhome to horse pulls and auctions.
Gerry was a great homemaker and mother and always took the best care of her children and grandchildren. Her work ethic was endless. She loved gardening and canning, instilling her passion and skills onto her children. She loved music, especially the old country variety. In later years, she liked watching birds and deer on her swing outside.

She was kind and caring with a positive attitude in life. She was a faith-filled person and was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish in Niagara.
She loved her family and spent her days making their life the best. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she never missed a birthday. She had a gift for remembering names, dates and birthdays.
Monday coffee dates with her sisters and family were the highlight of her week, along with the daily visits from her kids and grandkids.
We will miss her smile, kind words, gentle soul and quiet prayers.
