Hugh B. Kullar

Hugh was born April 18, 1938, in Crystal Falls, son of the late Arvid and Emma (Burman) Kullar. He attended Forest Park Schools and enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country for six years.

Hugh worked at Schneider Iron & Metal for many years. Hugh was a member of the American Legion Post 144 in L’Anse and a lifetime member of the Tufts Rondon VFW Post 2891 in Crystal Falls. He enjoyed cutting grass, feeding the birds, and going out for lunch to visit with friends.

Hugh is survived by his son, Brian (Carrie) Kullar; two grandchildren, Hunter and Jolie Kullar; a nephew, Raymond Olson; and two nieces, Iris Kamin and Becky Ford.

He was preceded in death by his life partner, Mary Glenn Mattson; his two brothers, Robert Kullar and William “Billy” Kullar; and a sister, Faye Olson.

Private family services will be held.
