Jaime Goulette

Jaime was born March 31, 1959, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Wayne and Patricia (Elliott) Goulette.

A lifetime resident and Iron Mountain High School graduate, Jaime worked at several area businesses over the years. Most notably, he owned and operated his own restaurant, Pizza Perfecta, for several years and one of his favorite jobs was working at Total Home Health Care, where he enjoyed visiting with the veterans.

He married Jodi Kleinschmidt on Feb. 5, 1977, at the Balsam Street Christian Church.

Jaime was a member of the Dickinson County Community Theatre and a volunteer at the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet.

He loved being outdoors, gardening and traveling with Jodi. He also cherished time spent at his sister’s cottage on Lake Elwood, which he referred to as “his happy place.” Above all, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jaime is survived by his wife, Jodi; three daughters, Tara (Brynn) Goulette of St. Augustine, Fla., Amber (Ramses) Mota of Marquette, and Ashley (Corey) Christian of Iron Mountain; a brother, Dan Goulette of Kingsford; a sister, Dana Eyers of Oconomowoc, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, Taylor, Jackson, Rhys, Jamison and Remi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per Jaime’s request, private family services will be held.
