Joseph Tripp

PEMBINE, Wis. — Joseph Donald Tripp, 90, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pembine on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025.
He was the son of the late William and Elenore (Cayo) Tripp. Joe was raised in Niagara, Wis., and worked for 36 years at the Niagara Paper Mill.
On Sept. 1, 1987, he married Linda Fellion. They spent over 38 wonderful years together.
Along with Linda, he is survived by six children, Cindy (Ken) Rudd, Suzanne McMahon, Bonnie (Dion) Tarsi, Sally (Dan) Deau, Joe (Debbie) Tripp, and Marijane Tripp. He is further survived by one wonderful brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Jackie) Tripp; 11 grandchildren, Eric Rudd, Wesley (Frances) Rudd, Josh (Suzanne) McMahon, Luke Lucas, Jake (Nicole) Lucas, Dylan (Tarah) Tarsi, Danny (Niki) Deau, Lacy (Chad) Tarsio, Angie (TJ) Van Eperens, Nikki (Mitch) Pickart, and Ryan (Alex Gill) Deau. Additionally, Joe is survived by 15 1/2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Dave Boesen and Bobby Johnson.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Darlene Tripp; and two brothers, Billy Tripp and Michael (Kathy) Tripp.

Joe was a fun-loving man. He loved joking with people and making them laugh. You never knew for sure what he would say next.
He enjoyed bending an elbow with friends at the local watering holes, especially Tripp’s and Bob and Gerry’s.
Joe was also an extremely hard-working and precise man. He loved his family above everything else. He will be missed.
A funeral Mass will be said by Father Joe Dorner at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Niagara on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m.
Friends and family are invited to gather at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at Tripp’s Tavern immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Breen Senior Center.
