Judith Skog
NORWAY — Judith “Judy” Ann Skog, 84, of Norway, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, in the comfort of her own home.
She was born Sept. 17, 1941, in Racine, Wis., to the late Leo and Sophie (Gasperetti) Lotharius. Judy was raised in Racine but enjoyed her family visits in the U.P.
After the unexpected death of her first husband, Gerald Johnsen, Judy was left to raise her daughters on her own until she was married to David Skog in 1987. She worked many positions, including bartending and working for Martens Manufacturing prior to her retirement from Maryhill Manor. Judy enjoyed her time in bowling league, telling stories and going out with her family and friends.
Judy will be deeply missed by her husband, David; two daughters, Donna (Dick) Lesser and Jill Johnsen; two stepsons, Terry Skog and Scott Skog; two grandsons, Ken Lesser and Jacob Zanona; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Lesser, Tristan Lesser and Maddie Zanona; and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Judy is preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Donnie Lotharius.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held in the spring.
Judy’s family would like to thank the staff of Marshfield Medical Center Hospice and her neighbor, Ann Marie Muraro, for their extraordinary care and support.
Condolences may be expressed to the family of Judith Ann Skog online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com.
