Ann Van Erem
NIAGARA, Wis. — Ann Marie Van Erem, 83, of Niagara, Wis., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, at her home.
She was born April 4, 1942, in Green Bay, Wis. Ann grew up in Green Bay and graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1961. She married Cletus Van Erem on Nov. 11, 1961, in Allouez, Wis. They resided in De Pere, Wis., until 1979 before moving to Fond du Lac, Wis.
Ann worked as a banker for Associated Bank and later at Kohl’s Department Store. In 1993, Ann and Cletus moved to Crystal Falls, and became the owners of Bargain Barn Antiques. In 2007, they made Niagara their home.
Ann enjoyed sewing, quilting, kayaking, and collecting and selling antiques.
She is survived by her loving husband, Cletus Van Erem; sons Peter (Dione) Van Erem of Fertile, Minn., and Curt Van Erem of Seattle; daughters Karen Zellner of Crivitz, Wis., Sharon (Lon) Sobeck of Appleton, Wis., and Julie (Philip) Stenfors of Bartow, Ga.; and by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Biemeret.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
