RAPID RIVER — Christina E. Argall (Hintz), 38, passed away on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Christina was born in Spokane, Wash., on April 4, 1987. She was currently residing in Rapid River with her loving husband, Matt, and her three children, Jonah, Mia and Henry.

Christina graduated from Kingsford High School and continued her education at Ferris State University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in communications. She then went back to school to achieve her LPN license and was currently a full-time student at Bay College, one semester away from receiving her registered nurse degree.

Christina was currently employed at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique. She previously worked at Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls and OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Christina was a beautiful, nurturing soul whose life was defined by her devotion to caring for others. Kind, hardworking and deeply loving, she brought immense joy to everyone she met. She cherished her family and friends above all else, creating precious memories, whether it was adventures with her husband, playing “birdy” and jumping on the trampoline with her kids, or enjoying late-night hot tubs under the northern lights.

In addition to her husband and children, she leaves her mother, Doris Brey; stepfather Walter Brey; and three siblings, Larenda (Kyle) Schuberg of Holland, Mich., Malenda (Mike) Smith of Florence, Wis., Nicholas (Aiyana Nelson) Hintz of Iron Mountain; parents-in-law Joe and Susan; Argall; sister-in-law Katie (Ryan Annear) Argall and nephew, Kash. She also leaves behind two stepsisters, Jaclyn (Brad) Koski of Iron Mountain and Rhonda Brey of Iron Mountain; and two half-sisters, Aleatha Kapelke and Brenda Allen.

She is preceded in death by two half-sisters, Sheena Main and Jessica Gallagher.

Family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 13, from 1 until 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A funeral service honoring Christina’s life will follow at 3 p.m. with Father Ryan Ford officiating at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.

Christina will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
