Thomas Maynard

He was born in Lowell, Ma., on May 25, 1948, the son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth (Rusha) Maynard.

Tom was a jack of all trades and worked at many different jobs in his life, and was very good at all of them.

He loved his family and he spent as much time as he could with them at camp, playing and running with the grandkids, having s’mores over the campfire. He loved hunting, fishing, and cookouts at his home with all his family around.

He is survived by his daughters, Julie (Jamie) Roberts, Brenda (Del Hamacher) Maynard and Teresa (Ed) Larson; grandchildren Tommy (Terra) Maynard, Andrew (Jessica) Maynard, Heather Zychowski, Devin Carley, Sam (Adam Gilbert) Zychowski, Brett Finn, Tori (Brian Westman) Finn, Katlyn (Tyler Skoglund) Roberts and Jessica Larson; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Bob Maynard; sister Marin (Dale) Rademann; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dean Hamacher, who he considered a son.

Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Maynard; brothers Sonny, Butch and Chuck Maynard; and sisters Bonnie Hagberg and Katie Vogel.

Family will greet friends on Friday, Feb. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.
