Carol Majewski
ARMSTRONG CREEK, Wis. — Carol Jane (Hoffman) Majewski, 94, of Armstrong Creek, Wis., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, peacefully at her home.
She was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 15, 1931, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Manzek) Hoffman.
Carol married Anton Majewski on Aug. 13, 1949, at St. Veronica Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Carol was a service manager at Ola’s Grocery Stores and followed by Jewels Grocery Stores in Milwaukee until she and Tony retired to Armstrong Creek in 1983.
Carol spent her retirement feeding her birds, knitting, gardening, watching the Packers, and journaling. Her fresh bakery and black coffee were always waiting for any family or friends when they stopped by. She cherished visits from her family and friends.
Most of all she loved spending time with her husband, Tony, riding in the woods to fish or looking for wildlife, berries and mushrooms while enjoying lunch and coffee.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Theresa) Majewski of Armstrong Creek; daughter Gay Ann (Michael) Kanyuh of Edgewater, Fla.; daughter Dawn (David) Millan of Armstrong Creek; son James Majewski of Armstrong Creek; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy (Murray) Fry, Patricia Pope; and brother Terry (Debbie) Hoffman.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anton; her parents, Henry and Dorothy; and her brothers, Hank, Robert, Dean and his wife, Kathy.
Carol was the heart of our family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with Father Soja Joseph officiating.
Weber Hill & Packard Funeral Home of Crandon, Wis., is assisting the family with arrangements.
