CRYSTAL FALLS — Eric C. Malcore, 50, of Crystal Falls, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
He was born on Sept. 14, 1975, in Green Bay, Wis., to Deborah (Hinds) Loberger and the late Craig Malcore.
He met his future bride, Shanna Ventura, in Qatar and they were married on Oct. 28, 2009.
During his working career, he managed several oil companies in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, as well as North America and Canada.
For the last two years, he owned Paper Plastic & Pixels – P3 in Crystal Falls.

He was an avid reader who always enjoyed an excellent sci-fi novel, and was a fan of “Star Wars.” He loved fishing, snowboarding, his dogs and spending time with family. He was a huge Packers and baseball fan, especially of the Houston Astros. He loved spoiling his daughter and his wife.
Eric is survived by his loving wife, Shanna Malcore; sons Justin (Divinea) Malcore and Jared (Payal) Mancuso; daughter Piper Malcore; brother Nathan Malcore; uncles Curtis (Nancy) Malcore, and Bradley (Lynette) Walker; nephew Sebastian VandenHeuvel; niece Abigail Malcore; sister-in-law Shedelyn Ventura; brother-in-law Ruark (Kristine) Ventura; his four dogs, Belle, Nallah, Chewie, and Oreo; and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 20, at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, 909 Crystal Ave., Crystal Falls. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Father Daniel Dapaah officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Evergreen Memorial Park in Crystal Falls.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the family.
