Joanne DeVore

Joanne was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Smithson) Michaud. She graduated from Iron Mountain High in 1956.

Joanne worked for 30 years at WDUZ and WQLH Radio in Green Bay, Wis. Joanne loved being outdoors and spent as much time as possible at the family’s cottage in Spread Eagle, Wis.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Lynn (Dave) Sternhagen; son, Robert (Susan) Spigarelli; stepson Michael DeVore; sister Jeanette Sheldon; grandchildren Collin and Elise Sternhagen, Bryce, Chase, Brecken and Kaden Spigarelli; one great-grandchild, Carson Sternhagen; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an older brother, Gerald Michaud; and a younger brother, Frederick Michaud.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Lyndahl Funeral Home in Green Bay. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at 10:30 a.m.

Memorials in Joanne’s name may be sent to the family or directly to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.
